AI has officially arrived.
It’s no longer something to consider or wait for. It’s not theory or speculation. It’s here and it’s influencing our reality in so many ways…
You cannot not avoid it.
Our world has shifted into a new realm of possibility and expectations.
You are unlikely to hide from it.
The impact of AI will touch your life in some way or another.
You will not keep up with it.
The game of progressive technology is evolving in a scary and exciting way.
- What we think we know is changing every day.
- What was never before possible is now within reach.
- What we’re ultimately capable of is radically uncertain.
We are experiencing new territory with tech, software, economics and capacity at rates and scale that we’ve never seen before. We don’t know what we simply don’t know.
Yet one thing is certain.
Leadership, decision making, creation and choice have become more important than ever.
And in this era…
It will be so easy to choose AI.
To choose the fast, efficient and more logical way. The instant response and sense of clarity. The path that feels so great and obvious, even if it means deferring our human being.
Yes – our acceptance of AI will slowly defer the human experience. It’s happening all around us. Every single day.
- Both small business and the enterprise are laying off humans for more efficient and economical AI replacements.
- The tech titans are in a competitive race to see who can continue building the most powerful AI on the planet.
- Screens are offering us new forms of consumption and creation, targeted at every age range.
The world is completely mesmerized by how much computers can do [now]. It will be much better, more profitable, efficient, and way more predictable. The future with AI will be amazing!
But wait…
What will this cost us?
What are we giving up to pursue this magical illusion? What will be left if we let AI continue to progress and run the show?
Yeah… that’s the scary part.
The part most of us are not considering.
Or, the part that we simply don’t want to face and acknowledge.
The unspoken projection of reality.
To produce this amazing technology, we must sacrifice raw materials. We will continue slowly destroying our planet to support the intense resource demands of AI.
To use this amazing technology, we must give up parts of our human consciousness. We will think less for ourselves and let large language models influence our collective brain.
To accept this amazing technology, we are slowly voting up machines and voting down humans. We will constantly question if humans are good enough for the job.
That is all very REAL.
There is a clear projection of an AI-driven future that makes many humans pretty useless. It’s easy to see if we keep our current pace. It’s highly probable if we stay connected to screens, stimulus and continuous consumption.
It’s a really dark future that nobody wants to admit is coming.
And yet…
I see it differently.
I believe that YOU still have so much potential.
I would strongly argue that AI is still just a tool to be used by humans – if – we consciously choose how to use it.
I feel we are in the midst of a critical turning point where choice is more important than ever.
We still have an opportunity to remember…
- Human nature is still so powerful.
- Human decision making is more valuable than ever.
- Human soul will be harder to find.
Do not forget that, when most people will.
Most humans will fall asleep in this age.
Most will fall in line and chase the next best thing that AI can produce.
And most will NOT fight to defend or protect what matters most.
Being Human.
Which presents greater opportunity for the few.
The few who still know how to lead.
The few who will choose to craft real human things.
The few who will stay grounded and then rise amongst the hype of AI chaos.
The next chapter is to be determined…
AI is going to impress and dazzle us.
You will be amazed at what it can do. It will change how we think, learn, connect and engage with information.
AI is going to test us in extreme ways.
Your job is no longer safe, that’s for sure. Your comfortable way of earning is at risk. You must now prove you are more valuable than a computer.
AI is going to divide us.
Your people will influence you from a place of fear. They will pursue what the popular headlines and trends suggest. There will be a continuous race to the bottom.
And so… you will be left with an important choice –
Do you choose to be HUMAN?
Do you still know what that means?
Do you even care?
Do you understand why that matters [now] more than ever?
I sure as hell do. 1000%.
And I still consciously choose to be human.
I will choose to use AI, instead of letting it use me.
I will choose to stand and fight for a reality where AI does not destroy the best parts of being human.
I will choose to build a future where my children grow up with an opportunity to also be human.
